It was a totally gorgeous day in May when Sarah and Adam were married. They spent the day at Pynes House with their wonderful family and friends, surrounded by the rolling Devonshire countryside. We were even lucky enough to enjoy a beautiful golden hour and sunset which they had been hoping for!
I could never get tired of driving up to this beautiful venue, as soon as you see the tree-lined driveway you know you’re in for a serious treat! Pynes House is a totally breathtaking country house here in Devon and I’m so lucky to have it just a stones throw away. It’s said to have inspired Jane Austen, and it really does feel like somewhere straight out of a novel with it’s English rose garden, ornate features and stunning ballroom. I’m totally obsessed!
We started the day with preparations in the beautifully light bedrooms. This is always such a special part of the day with the gentle buzz of excitement and anticipation for walking down the aisle. Sarah and Adam had chosen a pretty pink scheme and I love how their details all tied in seamlessly throughout the day.
Following their indoor ceremony, they enjoyed a drinks reception in the Rose Garden. We made the most of the house and driveway as the backdrop to a few formal group shots ahead of a their fabulous wedding breakfast in the Ballroom. It was styled elegantly with lots of candle light, fresh flowers and gold details.
The sunshine lead us on to a beautiful evening with golden hour. We had to make the most for their couple portraits and had the sweetest audience of spring lambs watching!
