I’m Tara, a luxury fine art wedding photographer, who adores capturing beautiful weddings with timeless imagery that will be cherished for generations. I’m based in the South West but capture love stories across the UK.

My work often has me travelling, but the countryside and coast will always feel like home to me. When I’m not at a wedding, I love planning, editing and creating from my beautiful home office in Devon, often accompanied by my two cats and a cup of tea!

Away from work, you can find me curled up getting lost in a book, growing fruit and veg in the garden, scouting out new brunch spots and feeling the sun on my skin with day trips to the beach. This rather lovely little corner of the world is hugely important to me and it inspires my work on a daily basis.

Why am I a wedding photographer?

When I was a child, I loved taking photos. I’d have disposable cameras that I would take on family day trips or camping, snapping away at pretty much anything and everything! It was so exciting to get home and see them developed, and although they often didn’t turn out well, it didn’t really matter as looking at them brought back memories of that particular adventure. Although my skills have evolved since then, I’ve remained a hugely nostalgic and sentimental person, treasuring memories, people and places greatly.

My purpose is to help you remember; the people, feelings, moments, decisions and details that brought you to this wonderful day in your life.

Sometimes, all we are left with are photos and memories. Small things that make us think of a person and how they made us feel. It might be a smile, a mannerism, the way they hugged you, a handwritten note or a gift chosen with you in mind. These moments are fleeting and slip through our fingers with the blink of an eye.

Photos have the power to transport you through time, instantly taking you back to the people, moments and memories most precious to you.

They are a postcard from the past and this, I believe, is the magic of photography.
