Deer Park Country House in Devon is a beautiful and exclusive countryside venue, and I’m so lucky to have captured lots of wedding there over the years. From it’s fairytale Summer House for outdoor ceremonies, luxurious Orangery for dinner and dancing, to it’s stunning Italian and Walled Gardens for drinks, we are absolutely spoilt for choice for photo opportunities. It’s always a pleasure to return here and I knew Kat & Hugh’s wedding was going to be a fabulous day.
Kat & Hugh were married on a crisp autumn day in September, and I was greeted with blue skies and dewy lawns for the days preparations. It’s so great having The Playhouse and The Shed on site at Deer Park as it makes capturing both parties so easy. Our couple opted for a ceremony at a local church, which was followed by heaps of confetti! We returned to Deer Park Country House for drinks in the Italian Garden, and lawn games were enjoyed in the September sunshine. The Orangery was styled with fresh white and green tones, and each guest had a personalised hand-written message from the newlyweds waiting for them. It was so lovely to see reactions to this and a few happy tears were definitely shed. Speeches, food and photos of the couple were followed by cake and dancing - such a wonderful day!
